Literature Text

“Night. Dark night, punctuated by the dance of flickering stars in the sky, waking, saying hello to the sleepy world below. The moon, ponderously, rose, slowly, pensively, up to her rightful place, to watch the stars at play, to keep the sun his stay while the day was yet away. “

Twilight was curled up, under her favorite blanket, reading aloud from an old book of filly bed time poems to her teacher, Princess Celestia.

“Very good, Twilight.” The white Alicorn smiled.
Luna, once known as the Mare in the Moon, however was not in agreement.

“Why is it everypony thinks of the night as a time of somber sleep, and not as a time of rich, vibrant life?”

“That is the way of day creatures, dear sister.” Celestia replied, looking over from where she rested. Luna was up on the bed, staring at the moon and stars. “After all, most creatures sleep at night.”

Luna shook her head. “Not all, big sister. In fact, a lot of animals hunt at night and—

“I do NOT talk like that!” Luna objected, reading over Twilight Sparkle's shoulder.

“I took a little bit of creative license.” Twilight agreed. “But, it's a nice little story, isn't it?”

“No, it's not.” Luna objected. “All you wrote about was strange conversation we suppository had a long time ago.”

“I remember it well.” Twilight smiled, tapping a hoof to her head. “Well, most of it, at least.”

Luna gave her a mischievous smile. “Then do you remember what happened after that conversation?”

Frowning, the purple mare shook her head. “For some reason, that part always gets a little fuzzy.”

Luna, unable to stop herself from missing such a grand opportunity to play with her sister's favorite student.

“Two words.” The night princess said, whispering in Twilight's ear. “Affection time.”

With a squeal, Twilght's cheeks burned red as she ducked her head under her hooves.

“Your sister said that's not proper for a princess!”

Luna laughed. “Oh, Twilight,” She nudged her with a hoof. “I was only playing.” As Twilight raised her head, Luna planted a kiss on her cheek, which burned hotter than before. “Or am I?”
This is a short I just came up with for fun. No, Twilight and Luna are not a couple in this, and yes, there are possbilities of it. Haven't decided. Let me know if you think I should keep it going or not.
